Call for Summer Conference Presenters
Interested in sharing your ideas, hard work, and advice? We are looking for educational programming for the conference. ICAA members want to hear what you are doing that is positively impacting your advancement area.
Apply to present at Summer Conference!
Past and first-time presenters, co-presented sessions, and referrals of non-ICAA member presenters are welcome to submit proposals. Your participation is key to offer a wide range of programming.
Below are a few topics that our members are always interested to hear about:
- Affinity-based Alumni Engagement and Giving
- Annual Giving
- Campaign Management
- Major and Principal Gifs
- Donor Relations and Stewardship
- Peer-to-peer Fundraising
- Student Philanthropy
Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes with 15 minutes for Q&A. The application will be open until May 31, 2023. Please click here to submit your proposal today!

Let's feature a 2022 presenter!
Dara Gard, Associate Director of Annual Giving at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology presented on the Ways to Involve Students in Donor Engagement and Stewardship.
In this session she spoke on ideas and ways that she has been able to engage current students in giving days and donor appreciation that have a low financial obligation. She also spoke on ideas that sounded great but didn't work at all.

This is your chance to recognize the great work of your colleagues, your advancement division, and even yourself (self-nominations are welcome and encouraged!). - How many years have you been a member of ICAA? Of the executive committee?
- I have been a member of ICAA during my time at Ohio Wesleyan University (2006-2021) and during my time since 2021 at Denison University. I am in my third year serving on the ICAA Executive Committee.
- What is your favorite ICAA event of the year?
- Summer Conference - it's a great opportunity to connect with colleagues in the region and participate in some great professional development programming.
- What is your favorite ICAA memory?
- Summer Conference 2022 which was located just outside of Cleveland. Coming out of the COVID years it was great to see colleagues in person and re-connect.
- What is a fun fact about you?
- I love to travel and am close to crossing one item off my bucket list - visiting all 50 stations. Forty-six down and four to go. Favorite destination to date, Charleston, S.C.
